BWF was founded in 2002 by Adhik Kadam and Bharati Mamani in Pune, India. The mission of BWF is to provide ‘Human Touch' to the people of border areas who lost their loved ones in violence and armed conflict in the Kashmir conflict. BWF is on a mission to making peace and spreading love through their various programs. Founders of BWF started working in Kashmir in the year 1997.


Adhik Kadam

Adhik Kadam is an Indian social entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is on a peacebuilding and peacekeeping mission, working in the conflict zones of Jammu and Kashmir. Kadam has completed a master's degree in political science. He is a co-founder and the chairman of Borderless World Foundation, which is an NGO that works for the deprived and victimized people of the border areas of India. The NGO runs four orphanage homes for girls in four districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Kadam's social work covers healthcare, education, women's empowerment, women's hygiene, arts and culture, and poverty alleviation at the grassroots.
