As an important activity, BWF works on gender sensitization with Rotary International and other like-minded institutions, particularly in higher educational institutes.
Conflict zones such as Jammu & Kashmir are marked by poverty, fragile institutions, inequality, discrimination, and prolonged social conflict. Through extensive field engagement, BWF identified that promoting gender equality is one of the most effective ways to address conflict and minimise the long-term impact of extremism.
These efforts address patriarchy, discrimination, and social issues such as trafficking and exploitation. As part of our advocacy efforts, our founder has engaged with diverse global platforms to speak on issues of gender equity, peacebuilding, child rights, and conflict-affected communities.
